Techlab Education joins 2Sigma School

Santa Clara, CA (Jan 06, 2023) — 2Sigma School is excited to welcome Techlab Education to advance our shared vision of preparing students for the careers of the future. For well over a decade, Techlab has provided a learning platform and programs for students in grades 6-12 who aspire to be global leaders and change makers.

2Sigma School offers credit-bearing classes in advanced computer science to high school students so they can earn credits on their transcript for courses not typically offered by most high schools. Techlab will further strengthen the quality and diversity of 2Sigma School's accredited programs to include hands-on engineering oriented courses.

"Techlab's core teaching philosophy was anchored on active learning through coding, raspberry Pi/Arduino projects, hands-on projects, and embracing maker skills in the classroom. We are delighted to join forces with 2Sigma School, an organization that shares our vision and passion for education," Raj Pai, chief educator and owner, Techlab Education.
"2Sigma School was founded to make high-touch, high-quality education in computer science and technology accessible to every student globally. We are inspired to solve the 2-sigma problem in education and our people, pedagogy, and tools work in unison to bridge the growing gap in the critical skills of the 21st century. We are excited to work with Techlab Education in realizing our vision for the future of education." — Vishal Goenka, founder/CEO, 2Sigma School.

2Sigma School is led by veterans of the technology industry along with a team with deep experience in computer science and engineering education. High school students can take credit-bearing classes in advanced computer science, data science, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence and earn credits on their transcripts while learning online with a live instructor in small cohorts. In addition to direct student enrollments, 2Sigma School is an official instruction partner at high schools across the United States and delivers hybrid instructions during the traditional school day integrated with the school's staff and bell schedule.
