Head of Growth

You’re a good fit for this role if you have:

  • 7+ years of professional experience in developing successful strategies and executing campaigns resulting in a strong brand identity, as well as designing and managing initiatives that generate robust demand for the business offering.
  • Experience in both B2B as well as B2C marketing, as partnerships as well as direct to consumer are equally important in our business plan.
  • Experience with working with a nascent consumer product or organization and owing the discovery of the brand’s unique value through customer research and data-driven analysis.
  • Strong analytical skills and hands-on experience in customer segmentation and identifying unique value propositions for different segments building a cohesive narrative.
  • Deep experience and comfort building marketing communications collateral across different content formats ranging from video to text, and across traditional print as well as digital channels.
  • Led small to medium-sized team of digital and brand marketing specialists.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity, self-driven, self-directed, and viewed by colleagues as a mentor or guide.

  • 3+ years of professional experience with educational data mining, preferably in the context of remote learning.

Internship — AI Resident

This role is a unique opportunity for students in the final year of their undergraduate or masters degree to get real-world exposure to the latest and greatest in generative AI and data science.

  • Expertise and strong interest in following areas of machine learning: Generative AI, Natural Language Understanding (NLU), Natural Language Generation (NLG), Structured Prediction, unsupervised Learning, and representation Learning.
  • Must be strong in coding skills and be ready to pick up any task and run with it.
  • Fluency with Python programming.

Your responsibilities:

  • A typical day-to-day includes experimenting with and implementing different models and algorithms, adapting them to our use cases and driving internal metrics.
  • Research, design, implement, optimize, and deploy deep learning models.
  • Build applications using prompt engineering for LLM models, fine tuning models, training open source models, and large-scale training.
  • Compare and benchmark performance of different models.
  • Solve real world problems using AI and LLMs.

Part-time Computer Science Teacher — Remote

You’re a great fit for this role if you have:

  • Undergraduate major or minor degree in computer science and an undergraduate degree in education.
  • A passion for teaching students across different demographic and educational backgrounds, with a strong focus on equity in education.
  • Taught computer science courses in Java and Python to high school or college students for 5+ years. Bonus if you have been an AP Reader for AP CSA or AP CSP.
  • Teaching credentials in one or more states are a strong plus.
  • Mentored other computer science teachers in professional development training programs.
  • Curated curriculum and assessments and shared them with other teachers.
  • Proven record of achieving learning outcomes for your students and an orientation towards data-driven decisions.
  • Experience with mastery-based grading and differentiated instructions within the classroom.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach full-year credit-bearing courses to high school students online, including administering formative and summative assessments and assigning grades.
  • Practice radically flipped classroom instruction with a focus on highly engaging, active learning during live sessions.
  • Constantly improve our curriculum and pedagogy to incorporate better ways to teach hard concepts.
  • Be hands-on with evaluating and incorporating new learning tools and technologies in our program.

  • Execute the organization’s vision of building non-linear content pathways that allow high degree of personalization for different learners.
  • Stay abreast of research in pedagogy of computational thinking and design curriculum and assessments to enable active research through randomized controlled trials.
  • Establish processes and practices for alignment with applicable state or national standards.

You will be responsible for running an online school like clockwork!

You’re a great fit for this role if you have:

  • 5+ years running a middle or high school as the Principal, Vice Principal, or Superintendent, with a proven track record. Bonus if you have managed a Virtual School.
  • Well grounded in local community with strong relationships with critical stakeholders in public education ecosystem and education policy.
  • Taught in a classroom at a high school or a college for at least 2 years.
  • Strong communications and management skills with a proven track record of hiring great teachers.
  • Started a school, or been part of a school during the early formative period, and grown it to at least a few hundred students.
  • Experience with and passion for teaching underserved and socio-economically disadvantaged students.
  • A passion for transforming education in Computational Thinking and foundational Computer Science and making it accessible at scale and high-quality.
  • Detail orientation and are willing to roll up your sleeves and get hands-on. You thrive in ambiguous, fast-paced, and high-growth situations, with limited resources and direction.
